I really like the idea of October.

Keyword: idea.

The word October brings to mind crisp, cool days; apple cider & pumpkin-flavoured treats; & crunchy leaves to kick through. Most of these things are attainable, but if you live in Southern Ontario like I do, October also gives you lots & lots of rain. The leaves don’t really crunch so much as smush as you walk, & unless you’ve invested in some quality rainboots (I haven’t), you better have an extra pair of socks at hand.

This is why I was excited this afternoon, when the sky was overcast & the air dry! I had planned for a photoshoot of my new Nancy Drew coffee cup cozies in the photography studio at my school, but as I walked through the forest near my house with my camera & finished goods, I couldn’t resist stopping right where I was.

Seven brand new designs (never before printed) are up for sale at Shipwrecks & Bravery! I still have a bunch more up my sleeve that will be printed & sewn up over the next week. I hope you all enjoy the cozies!
