Inspiration: Blackbird Vintage
Earlier this week, my boyfriend & I went downtown to visit the Distillery District. Even growing up in the city for the majority of my life, I’ve never made it down there, by the lake. It’s beautiful! I often catch glimpses of it during train rides, but it’s wonderful to experience the architecture up close.
We visited a few small galleries & browsed the windows of a few shops, but it wasn’t until we entered Blackbird Vintage that I got excited about documenting our trip!
Blackbird sells a combination of vintage goods (including both large statement pieces, & pretty everyday items for use & display), & newly-made, beautifully-packaged products. I didn’t want to drag J around very long, so I didn’t get a chance to absorb very much, & unfortunately, a good handful of my photos turned out blurry. Lesson learned: take your time with pictures, & make it up to the boyfriend later! I’ll certainly be returning one day, to take some better shots & capture a more accurate representation of the shop. It’s heavenly.
Hope you enjoyed!
