We’re going to pretend it hasn’t been nearly three months since I’ve posted. Okay?

I am nearly halfway through my second semester of college. It’s not quite as thrilling as the last, but I’m learning a lot of new things. My drawing is slightly improving; I’ve learned how to use dyes on fabrics; I’m in love with creating colour palettes in my sketchbook; & I’ve finally learned all about creating repeat patterns. It’s awesome.

I have a new free hat pattern coming up, a better thrifting post, & tons of photos from The Gallery at my school, where the Textiles studio is currently its work. But, for now, to help me get back in the swing of things, here are a few photos from my busy weekend:

Unfinished bag project from my Sewing class.

I got this motif from painting oranges (amazingly fun activity, by the way!) & used it for the lining of my bag.
